Collection of 3 key pieces which include: Structured Blazer, high waist flared trouser and a midi sheer dress, where all influences were taken from WGSN through trend forecasting, looking into the purposeful theme. The hand drawn illustrations were scanned into the computer and opened in illustrator then using the image trace tool to adjust the threshold to the desired effect. 

With the use of WGSN the pantone colour scheme for the theme 'purposeful' was opened in Illustrator then dragged in to create the colours that matched perfectly. 

Collection of three pieces which include: Western jacket, loose fit jumper and tailored trouser. The same process was done the same way as the womens above. 

The final lines were transferred from Illustrator into photoshop on top of my mood boards, they stood out from the mood board due to thick outlying and bright colours. 

The Illustrations represented the best outcome as i didn't just want to scan in my raw images as they were done in colouring pencil and would have looked rough. Whereas through scanning them in and editing them in Illustrator helped to give the creative cartoon look which was highly influenced by the illustrators i researched. 

The work relates to the professional work i researched as the Illustrators i choose for inspirations used cartoon like illustrations with thick outlining and little attention to features this is what i incorporated into my designs. 

Difficulties i encountered included was not following the specific guidelines as i did not scan in my illustrations to work on as a template, I took a photo and opened it up and worked over it lowering the opacity levels, however i feel this produced the same outcome. 

I could have improved the process by practicing the use of scanning more so i could come up with a technique that best suited me. ​​​​​​​
